For the 4th year in a row, our SOMFY Sustainable Development Days are back on July 3rd and 4th! This two-day event is the perfect opportunity to track the progress of our sustainable development roadmap, discover the most effective initiatives, and engage personally with building a more sustainable and equitable world.
|

This year’s program includes workshops, tours, meetings and conferences.
|
|
| |
|
On July 3rd, build your own schedule around all the workshops on offer to find out more about the Group's CSR challenges before ending the day with the “Redesigning buildings for living better: the challenge of energy sobriety” web conference. This 30-minute discussion will focus on understanding the key issues involved in adapting existing buildings to cope with climate change and the solutions offered by industry leaders:

“New regulatory, thermal and energy landscapes: the need to adapt” with Anne-Sophie Perrissin-Fabert from IGNES, who will explain the implications of recently introduced building industry regulations and the need to adapt our practices accordingly

“New ways of designing and manufacturing building products” with Philippe Geoffroy, Environmental Performance Director at SOMFY, who will take us behind the scenes to explain how eco-design is applied to the Group's products, and Bruno Cadudal, President of Atlantem and UFME, who will detail how recycled materials are now being incorporated into window manufacture, marking a further step towards construction industry sustainability

“Extending equipment life cycles and functionality” with Guillaume Varrobieff, CEO of Repar'stores, who will highlight the changing expectations around building equipment maintenance and repair

It’s also a great opportunity to invite journalists, local councilors and influencers to a conference highlighting the power of employee commitment as a lever for implementing our Group CSR policy.

July 4th will be dedicated to celebrating the 20th anniversary of the SOMFY Foundation! A conference will highlight the commitment shown by our people, and its importance as a cornerstone of our CSR policy.
|
|

|
The SD Village will be open between 11:30am and 2pm both days for you to contribute to discussions with the leaders of our CSR initiatives. You'll also have the opportunity to follow the discovery trail and explore the village created opposite the Lighthouse, which will be transformed for this event. And don't forget to stop by the main stand at 1pm on July 4th to help Bruno Barlet and the Foundation team blow out their birthday candles. Great vibe, great music and great guests!

Amy® Sun Protect io, the flagship product, uses an embedded temperature sensor and smart processor to lower roller shutters before the heat level rises too high. This eco-designed and sustainably manufactured range offers customizable options, and is fully compatible with the TaHoma® system for automated management of home thermal comfort. Amy® io is available on the French market since June 17th.

THE SOLIDARITY REPORT
Discover the SOMFY Foundation’s 2023 annual report, highlighting its contribution to building a better world for future generations. In 2023, the Foundation supported 44 organizations in France and internationally, completed 129 missions, and dedicated 689 solidarity days. It also strengthened partnerships, particularly with ACTED, Habitat for Humanity, and EnergieJeunes, while forging new relationships within the environmental nonprofit sector. 46 volunteers participated in 4 intensive missions to eradicate invasive plants coordinated by the League for the Protection of Birds. This commitment resulted in immediate and positive transformations in local biodiversity.
